It's here. Let us all welcome 2010 and be healthy, wise, happy and prosperous!
Some of us will celebrate with champagne. I'm sure mostly everyone will agree there is no better toasting beverage than a properly chilled glass of champagne.
Lets uncork!
Step 1 Remove the bottle top's foil cover.
Step 2 Under the foil is the wire that protects the cork. Securely cover the neck of the bottle and cork with a rag or cloth.
Step 4 While holding firmly with one hand, grasp covered cork and twist. Apply gentle twisting pressure.
Step 5 You'll hear the famous champagne "pop".
Step 6 Pour and toast!
Step 7 Recork lightly and keep the bottle chilled on ice.
And now for the short version remove foil, untwist holding wire, angle, secure, twist, pop and pour!
Enjoy!
Happy New Year 2010!
