How to Effectively Use Dragons in Gardens and Home Décor

Adding unique finishing touches to make your home decor "pop" can be as simple as adding several distinctive and eyecatching focal points. Have you ever considered a fantasy theme? Dragons come immediately to mind. These mythical creatures are available in limitless sizes and body shapes. Statues can readily be found in sizes suitable for any dcor, color or decorating themes.

1. Add pizzazz to indoor and outdoor locations with mythical creatures such as dragons. Use them in your entrance foyer, living room, den, bathroom; they lend themselves as fabulous accent pieces in gardens, around ponds and in pagodas. Since dragon figurines range from very large to small sizes, they are ideal in groupings, collections, and add style and enchantment wherever your place them.

2. Use a large oriental dragon, bright and colorful, at your garden entrance where he will become an exciting focal point or guardian. Scatter other colorful dragon statues around to protect your homestead and flowerbeds. Your mythical creatures will beautify and safeguard your homestead and property while adding theme and class to the landscape.

3. Create a mythical ambiance in your entry by using a large exceptional dragon piece to stand as sentinel and conversation piece. For small entries, a well-placed dragon statue will serve equally well. Team up several dragons in your living room to add spark and splendor to your dcor.

4. Spruce up an otherwise dreary bathroom with a contemporary dragon statue or several dragon figurines. Search around for a mythical specimen that is perfect add an instant spark!

5. Use odd numbers of dragons in your decorating theme. It is a general decorating rule to use odd numbers for best effect.

6. Display three or more dragons in a grouping. This is an instant start-up collection - a collection is considered three or more of one type of item.

7. Signal a cordial hello to your guests with a delightful dragon welcome sign.

8. Enlist a dragon birdhouse or birdbath to offer refuge to your local feathered friends.

9. Consider unique dragon pieces in your dcor such as computer speakers, nightlights, incense burners, bookends and accent tables. Dragons even grace blankets and bath towels.

It is possible to find dragon statues and figurines in myriad shapes, styles and sizes. Give yourself lots of time to enjoy the hunt for the perfect specimens for your home.

There are countless ways to use fantasy figurines and statues in your yard, garden and home. So, go ahead - add a handsome focal point or conversation piece. You will enjoy your selections and so will your guests.
