I Will Walk A Mile For You

I will walk a mile for you
In sun, in rain or in a blizzard.
When the evening closes in,
I will be on my way.

You hold my heart, oh Dearest.
I want to be with you forever.
It is you I miss beyond all words.
And I am on my way.

I cannot get over losing you.
Why did I ever let you leave me.
Now I pay the price of loneliness
Yet I am on my way.

I have thought about our fight,
Our argument of silly nothingness
That spurred you into leaving me.
My heart leads my way.

We are wonderful together
And I surely realize it now.
I can only hope you feel the same
As I get closer on my way.

I am so sorry for causing misery
And truly want to make it right.
It is you I seek, I need and want
Forever as I’m on my way.

I’ve learned a true and valuable lesson.
My mistakes have taught me well!
I learn from them and want to atone
Thinking about them on my way.

So open you heart, leave room for me.
I will stay true and loving evermore.
I’ve learned how wrong it was to fight
And will walk miles on my way.

- fight over - all is well -Mended heart

I’d walk one mile or many miles
So I could be with you.
I miss you very much, my Darling,
And I need to tell you so.

I’d jog one mile or many miles
In Mother Nature’s fields.
Through cold and ice and snow
Because I miss you terribly.

I’d stumble one mile or many miles
With oozing blisters and pain
So I could hold you in my arms
To feel you close again.

I’d ride one mile or many miles
It’s you I want to cuddle.
I love you and want to tell you
It’s you forever more.

I’d peddle one mile or many miles
To get to you tomorrow.
I want a life for us together
And need to tell you so.

I’d fly, swim or hobble many miles
To beg your hand for life.
We are soulmates, you and I.
Lets plan to make it so.

Right from the Heart, and when it comes from there, it must simply be observed and appreciated. I felt bad for you. I honestly felt bad for you. That's pretty powerful.

OK but no need to feel bad for me on this one - it's simply a figment. I observed someone all busted up over another and when they got back together, my word it was magical.

You are such a great guy to read and comment. So much appreciated.

Thank you for looking out for me. Nope, the recurring phrase just kept going in my mind so that's how it came out. I've gone back to the horse stuff. I know, I know. Not too much business for the horse articles but I'm grateful to Jean and Bruce for popping one of the articles on the home page. Could possibly pick up some horse folks. You know, of course, that I appreciate your reading and the comment! Thanks!
