If I Was Magically Granted Three Wishes

For several days, I have been awestruck and amazed by the good people on SearchWarp. I knew from the beginning that if I stuck with this writing site, that I would be surrounded by good, wholesome writers. The latest suggested assignment has really driven that home – make three wishes – give it serious thought . . .
Everyone has come up with marvelous, selfless thoughts and sincere hopes for America, mankind and the children of the world, just to name a few ideas. I echo those sentiments and congratulate my fellow writers!
So here I come with my wishlist, except that I’m going with family and self on my three wishes. Selfish? Perhaps I am thinking along the lines of me, myself and I in this regard. Oh well, I’ll take them if they are offered. After all, I don’t want to duplicate the desires of everyone who has already wished for noble and high ideals; don’t get me wrong – if these wishes could come true, this world would become an inspiration.
At this point, as my first and most important desire, I would wish with all my heart that my loved ones would experience amazing health coupled with a long, productive lifespan. Already they are good, able, industrious people. I wish them excellent health to continue on their way for a long time to come.
For my second wish, I would plead for better health, brighter outlook and substantial improvement - both mentally and physically - to my daughter, that she could improve in all ways healthwise and experience successes that heretofore have eluded her.
And, as my last and third wish, I would hope for adequate finances to live comfortably, easily and with some creature comforts. While I would not wish for insane riches or millions, it would be an amazing experience to always have the necessary dollars to cease worrying about whether I can afford this or that. Borrowing from this to pay for that now and then gets rather tiresome – the outlook for any additional moneys coming in or that slow boat from over the horizon bringing untold riches won’t be happening in my lifetime. It might be quite the experience to have no financial worries at all and live life to the fullest, sharing with those that need a hand, spending for the most expensive dinner instead of counting each dollar, and buying gifts based on love and what the recipient might really like instead of budget.
Yes indeed. My life has been lived and it was good. In hindsight, I have managed very well given the scenarios thrown at me by life and the Creator. Experiencing the ups and downs of life have prepared me for many things. I doubt whether a chance for three wishes or even just one will happen so I will forever more have to resort to my wits, training and forbearance. I have always managed – I can do it!
Just once, though, it would be nice.

Nice. I had trouble with this one and chose to not do the assignmentI did too. Especially since everyone seemed to go the noble way. I am tight for the family though and I decided that my wishes had to revolve around them first. Thanks for stopping for the read.
It would be nice! I hope your wishes come true, because they're all good. I hope things turn around for your daughter Heidi. - Brianna -It would be, wouldn't it. In fact, everyone had such grand wishes. What a wonderful world it would be the wishes were so good. Things got really dire for her after the embolis but she's been making her way back one step at a time. She'll probably always have a harder time than she might have had but she's coping now.
